What to expect on the first visit:

When a new patient arrives at our door and is greeted by name with a welcoming smile, he/ she will immediately notice that we do things differently. Instead of being handed a huge questionnaire on a clipboard and told to sit until the doctor is ready, a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) will personally guide them through our new patient process. The CA will answer their questions, assist them in completing the intake form, give them a tour of the clinic and an introduction to the staff while making them feel at ease. Patients will then meet with the doctor for their initial consultation. During this time, the patient’s history will be discussed and documented, and a thorough chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological examination will be completed. If any special tests are necessary, such as X-rays, they will be performed at this time. The patient will then be instructed on what to do at home that night while the doctor spends time reviewing their case, studying their exams and developing an appropriate treatment plan. A typical initial consultation and examination lasts roughly 30 minutes. Being on time and working efficiently makes this practice so unique.
